Aston Villa’s Egyptian winger Trézéguet has joined Turkish side İstanbul Başakşehir on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old picked up an injury in April 2021 which saw him sidelined for the rest of the calendar year.
However, he has recently made a return, playing a crucial part in Egypt reaching the final of this year’s African Cup of Nations, featuring seven times and scoring once.
Trézéguet joined Aston Villa in 2019 and played a key role in his first year as the club faced a relegation battle as well as a successful run to the Carabao Cup final.
The Egyptian wide player, who 64 times for the Claret and Blue, joins İstanbul Başakşehir who currently sit fifth in the Turkish Süper Lig.
