Aston Villa Women sign Scotland veteran Rachel Corsie | OneFootball

Aston Villa have signed Scotland international Rachel Corsie on a two-and-a-half year deal from Kansas City Current.

The 32-year-old has had previous spells in the WSL with Notts County and Birmingham City, while chalking up over 125 caps for her country.

Manager Carla Ward told avfc.co.uk: “Rachel is someone I admired greatly while working with her last season.

“When we heard of her availability during this transfer window, we simply couldn’t ignore her leadership and overall quality.

“She will guide our young talent and will also give us another dimension at the back. We’re delighted to add her to the squad.”

Meanwhile, Villa defender Elisha N’Dow has joined Coventry United on loan until the end of the season.
