WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Villans this afternoon.
Grant joins Aston Villa from Dutch club Ajax where she has spent the last four years. It has been reported that The Villans have paid an undisclosed fee to secure her services.
The 23-year-old started her senior career with ADO Den Haag. She spent three seasons in ADO’s first team before making the move to Ajax. Grant has gone on to make 81 appearances for Ajax in the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie while she has scored 22 goals. The winger has won one Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie title, two KNVB Beker Cups and the Eredivisie Cup with ‘The Daughters of the Gods’.
On the international stage, Grant has made seven appearances for The Netherlands at senior level. She is still awaiting her first goal for her country.
After adding Grant to his squad, Aston Villa manager Robert de Pauw said “Chasity is a fast winger with lots of pace. She can play on both sides and is also able to play as a striker or wing-back.
“Chasity has made many youth international appearances and has now broken into the senior national team which has been great to see.
“She has earned her stripes in the Netherlands, winning everything there was to win.”
“She is a player I believe will suit the WSL with her style of play and I look forward to working with her and seeing her shine in front of our amazing supporters.”
Grant becomes Aston Villa’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
