Aston Villa are making a record breaking new contract offer to captain Jack Grealish.
The Daily Star says Grealish will be offered a bumper £200,000-a-week deal to stay at Aston Villa.
Villa are prepared to smash their pay ceiling to keep the England star out of the clutches of Manchester City.
The club's owners - American Wes Edens and Egyptian tycoon Nassef Sawiris - have personally sanctioned the mega £10m-a-year new contract in a last ditch attempt to hang on to Villa's pin-up boy.
City boss Pep Guardiola wants the 25-year-old and talks are now under way to try and broker a deal. The Midlands club are adamant they will stick to their £100m valuation while City will try to get at least £10m knocked off that figure.
Bumper new deal or not, Grealish is desperate to not only win trophies but also wants to try and cement his place in Gareth Southgate's England side.
