Aston Villa in talks with Juventus over move for Rodrigo Bentancur | OneFootball

Aston Villa are looking to sign Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus.

The 24-year-old has been an important member of Massimiliano Allegri’s side this season, making 18 Serie A appearances.

However, the Old Lady are said to be willing to listen to offers for the midfielder.

According to Sky Sports, the Villans are in talks with the Italian giants over a possible move for the Uruguay international.

Juve reportedly want around £16 million to let Bentacur leave the Allianz Stadium.

Villa have been very busy in this transfer window, signing Lucas Digne, Philippe Coutinho, Robin Olsen and Kerr Smith.

However, the Midlands club are still looking for a holding midfielder and believe the Uruguayan to be a good fit for their needs.

Bentancur joined Juventus in 2017 from Boca Juniors.

Since he arrived in Turin, he has made 180 appearances across all competitions, bagging three goals and 18 assists.

He boasts plenty of experience playing at the top level of football and has also won three Serie A titles at the Old Lady.

Villa should do everything to sign the talented midfielder in this window.
