Aston Villa defender N’Dow loaned to Coventry United
FAWSL Full-Time
The 25-year-old centre-back becomes the second Aston Villa defender to join The Red and Greens in the current transfer window with teammate Natalie Haigh having also recently moved to the Butts Park Arena.
Coventry United announced the loan signing of N’Dow via a post on their official club Twitter account this afternoon.
N’Dow has spent her entire career with Aston Villa after coming through the club’s youth ranks. She has gone on to make more than 150 appearances for The Villans. N’Dow played in all 14 league matches in Aston Villa’s promotion-winning season in the FA Women’s Championship in 2019/2020 while she missed just two top flight matches last season. This season has seen the player make 10 appearances for Carla Ward’s side in all competitions.
The defender joins a Coventry United side who are battling to stay in the FA Women’s Championship following a turbulent campaign on and off the pitch. The club now look to be in safe hands under the guidance of new owner Lewis Taylor.
It is not known whether Aston Villa have granted N’Dow permission to play for Coventry United in the fourth round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup on Sunday.
