Aston Villa, Crystal Palace alerted as Chelsea make Loftus-Cheek available

Chelsea are not counting on midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the long term.

The England midfielder has played 26 times for Fulham during a loan spell this season, impressing with the Cottagers.

However, competition for places is fierce at Chelsea, with the likes of Mateo Kovacic, N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Billy Gilmour and Mason Mount all capable of playing as central midfielders in manager Thomas Tuchel's setup.

And according to TEAMtalk, Chelsea have told suitors they are happy to sell Loftus-Cheek, who has a contract with the club until 2024.

The likes of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have an interest, while Fulham may want him back if they avoid relegation.

Either another loan or even a permanent transfer away from Chelsea are possible for Loftus-Cheek this summer.
