Aston Villa have signed Ross Barkley on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
“Capturing a player of Ross’s quality is a real coup for our club and I am certain he will thrive here and improve our team,” Villa boss Dean Smith told the club’s official website.

Barkley moved to Stamford Bridge in January 2018 and went on to make 52 appearances for the club in the Premier League and Champions League.
However, the Blues summer spending spree has seen the England midfielder slip down the pecking order and he has been forced to move on in search of regular first-team football.
