Assists R10: Lens' Sotoca takes control | OneFootball

RC Lens forward Florian Sotoca moved into top spot on the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assists chart after the 4-0 Round 10 win over Nantes, a match in that saw him bag two goals and one assist, taking his season tally to a league-high four goals set up for his teammates.

Florian Sotoca has taken the reins from Moses Simon. A week after the Nigerian took the lead on the official Ligue 1 Uber Eats assists chart, the Sang et Or striker did just the same thanks to his fourth assist of the season on Matchday 10. While Caio Henrique (AS Monaco), who is a long-term injury absentee, also has four assists to his name, Sotoca stands above his two rivals, having distributed his four assists in open play and in four different matches.

Savanier, Zhegrova in hot pursuit

Also decisive in Round 10, Téji Savanier and Edon Zhegrova are just one assist behind the leading trio. The Montpellier man was the league's assist leader in 2019 with Nîmes (13), and his third assist of the current season came against Toulouse FC, when he picked out Nigerian goal machine Akor Adams with a perfectly weighted long ball. Savanier is now fifth on the table.

Meanwhile, Lille man Zhegrova also hit the three-assist mark in Round 10, but did so by bagging two in the same match, against AS Monaco. First he curled in a cross for Ivan Cavaleiro to nod home, and then he picked out the perfect pass to find Bafodé Diakité in the box. He is now eighth on the table after this tenth round of the 2023-24 season.
