In addition, the title of Assist Leader for the season has been decided three times on the basis of the number of assists in open play (the primary criterion for breaking ties). The first time was in 2008, when Jérôme Leroy beat Samir Nasri (OM), and then - five and ten years later - the ever-green Dimitri Payet missed out on a second title to Mathieu Valbuena (2013) and Neymar (2018). Paris and Rennes have seen triple this season Since the 2007-08 season, only one player has managed to bag four assist in a single Ligue 1 Uber Eats match: Memphis Depay (OL), away to FC Metz on 8 April 2018. In contrast, there have been numerous hat-tricks over the period. With PSG, Lionel Messi made assists history by becoming the first ever player to score two assist hat-tricks in the same season (vs Saint-Etienne and Clermont). Mbappé, who won the title in 2021-22, also set up three goals, against Lorient in early April.

Before them in the capital, Argentinians Javier Pastore and Angel Di Maria accomplished it twice, on 28 April 2015 (PSG-FC Metz, 3-1) and 15 April 2018 (PSG-AS Monaco, 7-1) for the first named, while ADM bagged his second during the Classique at the end of October 2019. Almamy Touré (ASM), Ryad Boudebouz (MHSC), Thibault Giresse (EAG), Jimmy Briand (EAG), Blaise Matuidi (PSG), Romain Hamouma (ASSE), Étienne Didot (TFC), Olivier Giroud (MHSC), Marvin Martin (FCSM), Fabrice Abriel (OM), Paulo Machado (TFC), Lucho Gonzalez (OM), André-Pierre Gignac (TFC) and Islam Slimani (AS Monaco) are also among those who have scored an assist hat-trick in the league. This season in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, among the five players to hit an assist hat-trick are two Rennes players: Benjamin Bourigeaud (vs Metz) and Lovro Majer (vs ASSE). >> All Ligue 1 Uber Eats assist records
