Christian Pulisic bagged yet another assist last night as AC Milan managed to beat Udinese by four goals to nil. As a result, the American has equaled his career-best with several games left in the season.
While it’s been a tough season for Milan as a team, currently 9th in the league, Pulisic has continued to show his quality throughout. Yesterday, he bagged a lovely assist for Strahinja Pavlovic from a corner, while also earning himself a 7/10 in our player ratings.
As per Lega Serie A, Pulisic is now on eight league assists, which puts him at the top of that table along with Nuno Tavares, Romelu Lukaku and his Milan teammate Rafael Leao. Transfermarkt, which also includes penalties won, has him at 10 league assists for the season and 11 in all competitions.
Last season, again using Transfermarkt data, the American bagged 11 assists in all competitions for the Rossioneri, setting a new career-best. In other words, he has now equaled that record and will likely surpass it, with six league games left and at least one in the Coppa Italia.
You could definitely name Pulisic the ‘assist king’ right now and Milan will be hoping that he can provide more of the same against Atalanta and Inter.
