As reported by , via Sport Bild, former Fulham and Wolfsburg attacker Ashkan Dejagah is banned from leaving Iran, which has since been confirmed by agent Reza Fazeli.

Per Deutsche Welle, this comes after Dejagah’s participation in a freedom rally against the Iranian regime at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The German-Iranian footballer is the latest athlete in the country to be detained and as a result, Dejagah was unable to attend his team’s training camp in Doha.
