20:40 – That’s a wrap for the 2023 Ballon d’Or nominations. All eyes are now on Paris for the award ceremony on 30 October.

20:35 – Making it into final places will be Kim Min-Jae, Luka Modrić, Kylian Mbappé, Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane!

20:30 –  The penultimate names on the list are Rodri, Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martinez and Robert Lewandowski.

20:28 – We’re approaching the final 10 names shortly. Will there be any surprise inclusions?

20:19 – Joining them are Martin Ødegaard, İlkay Gündoğan, Yassine Bonou, Julián Álvarez and Vinícius Júnior.

20:13 –  The list continues with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Emiliano Martinez, Ruben Dias, Nicolo Barella and Erling Haaland.

20:03 – More names are set to be announced shortly …

19:47 –  Up next are Kevin de Bruyne, Bukayo Saka, Bernardo Silva, Jude Bellingham and Randal Kolo Muani

19:42 – First on the list are Joško Gvardiol, André Onana, Karim Benzema, Jamal Musiala and Mohamed Salah.

19:37 – The list for the men’s award is set to be revealed very shortly …

19:27 – Completing the final five nominees are Mary Earps, Khadija Shaw, Mapi León, Asisat Oshoala and Wendie Renard!

19:25 – Just five places are up for grabs now …

19:23 – Joining them are Katie McCabe, Jill Roord, Yui Hasegawa, Alexandra Popp and Aitana Bonmati.

19:21  – The next names on the list are Patricia Guijarro, Sam Kerr, Ewa Pajor, Debinha and Guro Reiten.

19:13 – Next on the list are Daphne van Domselaar, Lena Oberdorf, Hinata Miyazawa and Millie Bright.

19:07  The list continues with Salma Paralluelo, Sophia Smith, Hayley Raso and Amanda Ilestedt all nominated.

19:01 – We have four more female stars up for the award with Fridolina Rolfö, Georgia Stanway, Olga Carmona, Rachel Daly and Alba Redondo getting the nod.

18:57 – First up we have some female nominees with Linda Caicedo of Real Madrid and Kadidiatou Diani of Lyon in the running!

18:53 – It shouldn’t be too long a wait now before the first Ballon d’Or nominees.

18:51 – And the final three Yachine nominees are Aaron Ramsdale, Dominik Livakovic and Brice Samba!

18:33 – Still nothing from the good people at France Football yet. It surely can’t be too long now before the first batch of nominees get revealed.

18:20 – It’s going to be a bumper evening, with France Football unveiling the 30 names from the men’s game who are up for this award.

We’ll also learn of the 20 players from the women’s game who could potentially get the biggest individual prize in football.

And if that wasn’t enough, there’ll also be the nominees for the Yacine Award for best goalkeeper and the Kopa Trophy for best under-21 player.
