The big news that we have all been waiting for has finally arrived this morning, and it’s the news that means Chelsea can finally start operating normally as a club again and action their plans for the summer transfer window.

It’s been confirmed that the UK Government have approved the Chelsea takeover sale and Todd Boehly’s consortium will now take the reigns at the club officially.

Jules Kounde is set to become the first Chelsea signing in the Boehly era.

The news comes after The Telegraph reported late last night that Thomas Tuchel will be getting a £200m war chest transfer budget to spend this summer.

They claim that the Boehly-led consortium want to mark the end of the Roman Abramovich era by giving Tuchel a clear signal they are serious about Chelsea making ground and eventually catching Manchester City and Liverpool.
