Barcelona have slashed the asking price for defender Samuel Umtiti amid reports that AC Milan have an interest in signing him.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported earlier in the week that Umtiti could be a target for the Rossoneri management. The 27-year-old Frenchman is finding very little playing time in Barcelona and therefore ended up in the Rossoneri notebooks, as they are always attentive to opportunities.

Mundo Deportivo then confirmed Milan’s interest and added how even though Umtiti is not massively in favour of leaving the Blaugrana this month, the club would evaluate a good offer.

According to the latest from AS (via OneFootball), Barca are now willing to sell the World Cup winner for as little as €10m this month.

He has been on the transfer list since the end of last season but the Catalan side received no concrete offers for him. Umtiti’s repeated knee problems have frightened off potential suitors, the report adds, but OGC Nice are showing themselves to be keen and the new price might help.
