Arturo Vidal’s Performance Against Liverpool Showed He Performs Better For Inzaghi Than For Conte, Italian Media Suggest | OneFootball

The performance put in by Arturo Vidal against Liverpool last night showed that Simone Inzaghi is getting more out of him than Antonio Conte could at Inter, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been suggested by Corriere dello Sport, the quality of the display produced by the Chilean midfielder against Liverpool was better than any he produced under Antonio Conte last season.

Arturo Vidal has played under Antonio Conte for many years of his career which is why the Italian coach brought him to Inter. The relationship did not go well though and the 34-year-old player could not make his mark on the team.

This season though under Simone Inzaghi, he is producing excellent and important performances when he is called upon. Yesterday he was filling in for the suspended Nicolo Barella.

It is suggested that his great performance shows how much he loves Inter and fighting for Simone Inzaghi.
