Arturo Vidal’s Move To Inter On Hold Until Nerazzurri Finalize A Sale Italian Media Reports | OneFootball

Arturo Vidal is currently in limbo according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Vidal is sitting around waiting to complete his transfer to Inter from Barcelona and although still under contract with Barcelona, he is no longer considered as a Barcelona player and has not played in their pre-season friendlies or trained with them lately.

Vidal’s arrival at Inter is currently on hold until Inter sell a player. The player closest to bidding farewell to the Nerazzurri is Diego Godin but the Uruguayan national team player has yet to reach an agreement with the Rossoblu club.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Vidal may not be the only midfield reinforcement that Inter make prior to the transfer window closing next month.

Inter manager Antonio Conte would also like Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante brought to the club so he can guard the defence and let Nicolo Barella get himself further forward.
