Arturo Vidal insists he wants to stay with Inter Milan.

The Chile international's contract runs to June 2022, although there is an option to extend for another year.

"I met the new coach and have been talking with him for three days," Vidal told Inter TV.

“I think he's a good coach who talks well and helps the team feel good. I also spoke to my teammates and they're very happy, working well and ready to have a great season in Serie A and the Champions League.

“I can't wait to get back on the pitch, as last season was not too good for me, I lost the last few months of the campaign due to injuries. This season I want to be at 100 per cent and show the whole world who Arturo Vidal is.

“I spoke to the club, we have a good rapport. They have a great deal of faith in me and I feel the same way about them. We need to see the Vidal that everyone knows, targeting a Scudetto and going all the way in the Champions League."
