Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta explained the inclusion of youngster Salah-Eddine Ouland M'Hand against Leeds United.

The central midfielder, who spent his youth career in Holland before joining Arsenal in August 2020, is highly rated at the club.

While he did not come in in the game, Salah-Eddine was an unused substitute in the 2-0 win over Leeds in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Asked about the substitute spot for the youngster, Arteta said, per the club website: "Rewarding him - for what he does every day in training and the games that he's playing, for his attitude and the quality he has - he totally deserves to be with us."
