Arsène Wenger has a new job in football.
After being heavily linked with the Bayern Munich post last week, the Frenchman has now been named as Fifa’s new chief of global football development.
Wenger has been out of work since the end of last season when he left his position as Arsenal boss after 23 years.
There has been some speculation as to just where the veteran tactician will go next and now it’s been confirmed by the game’s governing body that Wenger will be a “leading authority on technical matters, as a member of the Football and Technical Advisory Panels involved in IFAB’s review and decision-making process on potential changes to the Laws of the Game.”
Does this mean an end to the 70-year-old’s coaching career.
