Paris Saint-Germain are shifting their strategy, moving away from signing high-profile stars, with sporting advisor Luis Campos playing a key role in this new direction. However, growing interest from other clubs could challenge PSG’s ability to hold on to Campos.
Over his three seasons in Paris, Campos has successfully recruited young talents such as Vitinha, Bradley Barcola, and João Neves. Before joining PSG, he built a strong reputation with AS Monaco and LOSC Lille.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are on the lookout for a new sporting director following Edu Gaspar’s departure earlier this month. According to TBR Football, intermediaries have presented several candidates to the club, including Campos.
In addition, Football Transfer’s Robin Bairner reported on Sunday that Campos has been approached by Arsenal to replace Edu. With his three-year contract at PSG set to expire at the end of this season, Campos is a strong contender for the role.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal’s interest in Campos emerged after the club held future-planning talks in Los Angeles this week following Edu’s surprise resignation.
During the international break, manager Mikel Arteta met with owners Stan and Josh Kroenke, along with directors Tim Lewis and Richard Garlick.
Arsenal plans to take its time finding the right person, aiming to create a solid long-term approach for player recruitment and welfare amid ongoing speculation.
