Arsenal’s chances of a sensational swoop for Real Madrid Rodrygo are reportedly increasing.
The Mirror say the “player’s camp are becoming increasingly aware that his days in Madrid could be numbered” though he is willing to wait it out for the time being.
Rodrygo has been a bit part player under new boss Xabi Alonso at the Club World Cup so far and the possibility that he could leave is reportedly increasing.
The Gunners are in the market for a left-sided forward, with Ebere Eze also on the list of targets.
Sky Sports say Valencia are open to selling defender Cristhian Mosquera to Arsenal for around £25m.
Las Provincias say Mosquera has turned down a new contract with Valencia because he wants to join the Gunners this summer.
The Mirror, meanwhile, also report that Manchester United have turned their attentions to Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
It is reported that United are making a “concerted effort” to sign the 29-year-old and have held “tentative talks” over a move for the England international.
Watkins is valued at around £60 million, however, with United also trying to secure the signing of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
Elsewhere, Diario Sport say Chelsea are among the clubs keen on signing Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, with Barca open to letting the 21-year-old leave.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Blues have also held talks with Borussia Dortmund over a potential deal for centre-back Soumaila Coulibaly, who would initially play for Strasbourg next season should a deal be reached.
Talksport say West Ham have rejected an opening £50 million bid for Mohammed Kudus from London rivals Tottenham.
And the Independent are reporting that Lyon have set a price of at least £51.5m for 20-year-old Malick Fofana with Premier League clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham and Nottingham Forest among those keen.
