Arsenal Women set for increase in matches at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal Women could play six matches or more at the Emirates Stadium during the forthcoming 2022/23 season.

With tens of thousands of fans watching Jonas Eidevall’s side at the Emirates in 2021-22, the Gunners now intend to host three Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixtures at the stadium, plus all three UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage fixtures, should they reach that round.

Head Coach Eidevall told www.arsenal.com: “The backing we received both at Meadow Park and Emirates Stadium was unbelievable.

“It’s wonderful news that we will be returning to Emirates Stadium for more games next year and we can’t wait to see our fans there and at Meadow Park very soon.”
