Arsenal are looking to offer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a new contract in the hope of persuading the striker to reject advances from China.

Aubameynag has been one of the bright spots for the Gunners this term, forming a brilliant partnership with Alexandre Lacazette and helping guide the club to the Europa League final.

It’s thought that two Chinese Super League sides have been in contact with the Gabon international and have offered him a deal worth €300,000-per-week.

Arsenal though are looking to bat away those offers with their own improved terms, believed to be around €220,000-per-week.

That would constitute a €30,000 increase with Aubameyang himself reported to be keen on the idea of staying in north London.
