Arsenal will not move for talented Italian midfielder | OneFootball

Premier League outfits Arsenal are yet to submit any bids for talented Italian midfielder Ibrahima Bamba on deadline day.

The 20-year-old currently plays as a midfielder for Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes and has a contract until the summer of 2026. According to an update by Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the race is pretty open for Bamba as he is available to leave for a sum of around €7/8 million now.

Arsenal were the favourites to sign him but haven’t even initiated any talks with Vitoria as of now. Nothing can be expected on deadline day as Bamba isn’t an important target for any club but he will be a hot topic next summer.

The Italian International has featured 20 times this season across all competitions for Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese Primeira League this season and plays the role of a defensive midfielder. Italy National Team manager Roberto Mancini called to be a part of a 53-player training camp with the Azzurri on May 2022.
