Arsenal aren’t the only club considering a move for Szoboszlai, with the same report suggesting RB Leipzig, Real Madrid and AC Milan are all monitoring the situation.

It’s worth mentioning that previous reports suggest RB Salzburg are totally open to receiving the release clause in instalments anyway. Reports in Italy over the summer suggested the Austrian club were willing to accept the clause in three separate payments.

Obviously, if it’s possible, Arsenal will want to pay in instalments. Offering £8-10m upfront with the rest in years to come is ideal given the current worldwide financial situation.

There are certainly growing signs of Arsenal interest in the player. They’ve reportedly opened talks with his camp, with Fabrizio Romano and the player’s agent putting the Gunners in the race.
