Arsenal take on Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their huge Champions League semi-final tie tonight.

The Gunners knocked out holders Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, winning 3-0 on a memorable night in north London before a mature 2-1 victory in the second leg at the Bernabeu secured a statement 5-1 aggregate triumph.

Their reward is a last-four showdown with PSG, who have already seen off two Premier League teams in successive knockout rounds in Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Arsenal previously met PSG during the league phase when goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka sealed a 2-0 home win back in October.

But the French giants are a different side now under Luis Enrique and will provide another huge test for Mikel Arteta’s team.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The first leg of Arsenal vs PSG is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off tonight, Tuesday April 29, 2025. The game will take place at the Emirates Stadium.

The second leg is scheduled for an 8pm kick-off on Wednesday, May 7. That match will be at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Arsenal vs PSG team news

Arsenal will definitely be without the injured quartet of Gabriel Jesus, Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Magalhaes for both semi-final matches.

Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori also remain out, but Ben White and Mikel Merino trained on Monday so should be available for selection. Thomas Partey is suspended for the first leg.

PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz avoided a yellow card in their nervy second-leg win at Villa Park in the quarter-finals, which means he will be available for selection at the Emirates.

Enrique has named his squad to travel to north London and appears to have no fresh fitness concerns.

Arsenal vs PSG prediction

As good as PSG have been since the turn of the year, Arsenal are the one side that have had their number this season and the 2-0 win is looking more impressive as the weeks pass by.

The French side very nearly crumbled inside a hostile atmosphere at Villa Park and if the Gunners can recreate the noise and energy on display inside the Emirates against Real Madrid, they will have every chance of taking a first-leg lead to the Parc des Princes and then holding on in Paris.

Arsenal to win, 2-1.
