Newcastle have had a bit of a rocky patch away from home of late, winning just two of their past six games on the road. Those two victories came against West Ham United and Leicester City, two teams struggling. The other four games have come against teams in the top half.

They’ve won three of their last five games, however, and looked in good form last weekend when they beat Chelsea 2-0. That victory all but assured them of Champions League football next season but they’ll need to build on that result to ensure they secure a top five finish. Newcastle know a win in this encounter will see them sit second and ensure their dream of Champions League qualification next term.

Jorginho and Kai Havertz could both be back in contention by the time this game comes around, though they will need assessing nearer the time. Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel and Takehiro Tomiyasu are out for the season.
