Premier League leaders Arsenal host a Leeds side showing signs of fight in the relegation scrap on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners hold an eight-point advantage over Manchester City having played a game more, though that lead could shrink by the time they play United with City hosting Liverpool in Saturday's early kick off.

Arsenal team news

Injuries are piling up a little worryingly for Arsenal heading into the run-in. William Saliba is absent again here, leaving Rob Holding to deputise.

Eddie Nketiah, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny all won't feature, while fitness checks are required on Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney.

Even with the knocks, however, it's close to a full strength team for Mikel Arteta, who may have to choose between the in-form Leandro Trossard and the returning Gabriel Jesus in attack.

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Leeds

Arsenal predicted lineup vs Leeds (4-3-3): Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.

Leeds stalwarts Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas are both absent with injuries, as is USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams.

Wilfried Gnonto has returned from Italy duty as an injury doubt, while Maximilian Wober may not be risked with clashes against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace on the horizon.

Top scorer Rodrigo came on as a substitute against both Brighton and Wolves before the break and could get the nod from the start up front.

Leeds predicted lineup vs Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Meslier; Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Firpo; Roca, McKennie; Summerville, Aaronson, Harrison; Rodrigo.

Arsenal vs Leeds score prediction

Arsenal's momentum might have been hit by the international break and a couple of injuries to good squad players haven't helped, but they still have a mightily strong starting XI and one that should have too much vibrancy and bite for Leeds to handle.

The Whites have shown signs of life in the relegation scrap and sit outside the bottom three, but a defeat here would send them closer to the drop zone, especially if those below them pick up points.

Javi Gracia has done a good job at Elland Road so far and will hope to frustrate Arsenal at the Emirates, but a comprehensive home victory is the most likely outcome here.
