Arsenal return to Premier League action on Tuesday night with a London derby at home to Fulham.

The Gunners have already seen their title ambitions falter following a run of three games without a win during the period between the end of February and beginning of March.

As a result, they start the week 12 points behind leaders Liverpool and require a mini-miracle if they’re to overhaul Arne Slot’s side in the home stretch.

Though, on a positive note for Mikel Arteta’s side, the 1-0 win over Chelsea prior to the international break boosted their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

Next up is a clash with a Fulham side that have developed into somewhat of a bogey side and will be determined to bounce back from a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup quarter-final to maintain their own push for Europe.

Arsenal vs Fulham is scheduled for a 7.45pm BST kick-off on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium, London.

Arsenal vs Fulham team news

Bukayo Saka could return to the Arsenal matchday squad for the first time since before Christmas.

Saka has been out of action since December after undergoing surgery for a torn hamstring he suffered during the 5-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Though, he is nearing a return after taking to social media last week to upload an image of him from a training session with a caption that read: “Hello again.”

Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber is expected to be fit, Raheem Sterling is available again after being ineligible against parent club Chelsea last time out, but the Gunners are sweating on the fitness of Riccardo Calafiori after he picked up an injury whilst on international duty with Italy.

Emile Smith Rowe could make his first return to the Emirates after leaving permanently last summer, but the game comes too soon for Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete.

Arsenal vs Fulham prediction

It’s a tough one to call as Arsenal have found it difficult against Fulham in recent meetings. They haven’t beaten their London rivals in three attempts and those issues in attack are still apparent.

Fulham were surprisingly below-par against Crystal Palace but they have secured some impressive results away from home against the so-called bigger clubs this season and may strike another blow to the Gunners’ already faint title hopes.
