Arsenal are back in UEFA Women’s Champions League action on Wednesday when Danish club HB Køge are the visitors to Meadow Park.

The two sides met in Denmark in the reverse fixture last week with Arsenal running out easy 5-1 winners thanks to goals from Steph Catley, Nikita Parris, Caitlin Foord, Anna Patten and Jordan Nobbs.

Ahead of Arsenal’s latest tie in Boreham Wood, FAWSL Full-Time have been looking at the UEFA statistics surrounding the fixture. Here are four facts which relate to Arsenal’s group game against HB Køge.

The Gunners’ goals are flying in from everywhere

A really fascinating fact is that all 10 of Arsenal’s goals in Group C have been scored by different players. The Gunners have had more goalscorers than any other side in the group stage, with Chelsea second on eight. With the North Londoners being the heavy favourites for their latest match, there will undoubtedly be opportunities for more players to get their names on the scoresheet.

HB Køge have the second-worst defence

After conceding 12 goals in three group games, HB Køge have the second-worst defensive record in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage. Only Servette (15) have conceded more goals in the group stage to date than the Danes. They did manage to hold out for 27 minutes in the reverse fixture before conceding five goals.

Arsenal have a strong record on home soil

Arsenal have won their last four home UEFA Women’s Champions League matches without conceding a goal, scoring 17 themselves. The Gunners have dished out heavy defeats to Slavia Prague and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim at Meadow Park in this season’s competition and you can only see them doing the same to HB Køge.

HB Køge are one of two sides without a point

HB Køge are one of two teams to have lost their first three matches in the group stage. The only other team to have suffered three straight defeats is Swiss club Servette FCCF. HB Køge have gone one better than Servette FCCF with the Danish side having at least scored a goal in the group stage.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage match between Arsenal and HB Køge kicks-off at 8pm on Wednesday and will be available for fans to stream live on DAZN. Tickets remain on sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
