FORM GUIDE

City are unbeaten in the WSL across our past 14 matches after securing a 2-0 victory over Chelsea last time out.

Across this run, which stretched back to September 2022, we have won 12 and drawn two which has seen our title bid gather momentum as we sit second in the table – joint on points with Manchester United with a slightly lower goal difference.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are unbeaten in their past three league games – including a 5-1 win away at rivals Tottenham in their previous league fixture.

LAST TIME OUT

Taylor’s side secured a vital win over Chelsea in our last assignment with a hard-fought 2-0 success over Emma Hayes’ side.

A fantastic strike from Filippa Angeldahl opened the scoring on 21 minutes as she chipped Ann-Katrin Berger from the right edge of the box.

Lauren Hemp then doubled our advantage nine minutes later with a fizzing drive which nestled into the top corner to send the majority of the 5,000-strong Academy Stadium crowd into raptures.

PREVIOUS ENCOUNTER

First-half goals at the Academy Stadium from Hemp and Chloe Kelly in what was an electric opening 45 minutes gave City a commanding lead at the interval.

The former’s strike represented her 50th for the Club in all competitions, before the latter prodded home at the back post on the cusp of the break.

Rafaelle Souza pulled a goal back for the visitors on 59 minutes, but we held on to secure three points.
