Arsenal have released their new home kit for the 2024/25 season, which has reverted from the regular club crest to the iconic cannon last used over three decades ago.
Having incorporated gold details for this season’s shirt in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of the Invincibles, the latest offering brings navy trims to the traditional red base and white sleeves.
Adidas are again the creators for Arsenal and the German manufacturer’s famous three-stripe design is in navy contrast to the white sleeves, alongside trim in the same colours down the central red panel.
The Arsenal crest is replaced with the cannon on a home shirt for the first time since 1989-90 and the club have said in a press release that the cannon ‘represents an enduring symbol of Arsenal’s history which has been synonymous with the club since its inception’.
The new home shirt design will be debuted for the first time when Arsenal take on Brighton in the final Women’s Super League fixture of the season on Saturday May 18th.
