The Daily Mail say the club have identified “three priority positions” this summer – a new striker, a left-back and also a midfielder.

Among their targets for a new striker are Red Bull Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon centre forward Viktor Gyokeres, the Mail say, while they are also keen on Premier League duo Ollie Watkins and Alexander Isak.

The Guardian also say Gyokeres and Isak are high on Arsenal’s list, though claim signing Isak from Newcastle could cost more than £100m. Gyokeres is said to have a release clause of £86m.

The Evening Standard too report that Sesko is on their radar and that the Gunners are “stepping up” their attempts to sign him this summer.

Sesko is said to have a €50million (£42.7m) release clause in his contract that is due to become active in the summer, but Arsenal will reportedly face competition from Chelsea and Manchester United.

In midfield, the Mail say Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi is high on the list of targets.

The Mirror also say Arsenal are keen on bringing in a new winger in the summer, with Wolves’ Pedro Neto top of the list of priorities and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams also on the list.

Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is also of interest, according to the Guardian, who say the France Under-21 forward’s contract includes a release clause that comes into effect in the summer which is understood to be in the region of £65m.

Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Thomas Partey are all among the players who could be headed for the exit this summer to raise funds, the Mail reports, however.

The Mirror also say Emile Smith-Rowe could be allowed to leave.
