Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti praised Kieran Tierney but hinted that the Italians will not move for the Celtic defender.
Football Scotland reports that Arsenal are now leading the race for the 22-year-old left-back.
Napoli were in action against Liverpool on Sunday and beat the Reds 3-0 in a pre-season friendly. The report claims that Napoli were interested in Tierney but that depended on them selling Mario Rui.
However, Ancelotti was happy with the left-back options he had in Naples and wasn’t looking at Tierney (h/t Football Scotland):
“I know him and he is a really good player. He is a really good young left-back but he is a Celtic player.
“We are looking for a lot of players for this coming season but he is a Celtic player and we have two good left-backs.”
The Scottish defender is one of the best in the Premiership and it would be a blow to Neil Lennon’s plans for next season if he loses Tierney.
The report adds that Arsenal need to stump up £25m for the 22-year-old and have submitted two bids for the defender.
Tierney has the potential to develop further and it will be an interesting summer for him and the Gunners.
Arsenal have already signed William Saliba and Dani Ceballos, and could complete more deals in the coming weeks.

Tierney could be up for a bigger challenge in his career, and it will be interesting to see if he is off to another club this summer.
