Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on French international Kingsley Coman as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.
SportBild, the Gunners could make a move for the Bayern Munich winger in the coming months, with the player currently valued at around €40 million (£33m).
However, the Gunners could return for his signature in the summer amid reports that Bayern are now willing to cash in on Coman.
The Bavarians initially valued Coman at €70m (£58m), but his valuation has dropped dramatically along with his importance to the record Bundesliga winners.
Bayern won’t stand in Coman’s way if the right offer comes in, and Arsenal are reportedly the most interested club in the French winger at the moment.
Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to bolster their attacking options this summer. They need more quality and depth in wide positions, and Coman could be an exciting addition.
His pace, dribbling, and creative flair would add an extra dimension to Arsenal’s attack.
He’s also capable of playing on either side of the forward line, which would provide Arteta with tactical flexibility.
A move to the Premier League could be an exciting prospect for Coman, who has already won 12 league titles across spells with Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus.
A fresh challenge in the Premier League could motivate him to rediscover his best form, and Arsenal could provide him with the perfect platform to relaunch his career.
Coman has featured 32 times across all competitions for Bayern this season, returning just six goals and four assists, although he’s hardly a nailed-down figure in Vincent Kompany’s starting line-up.
He could take Arsenal’s game up a notch as the Gunners continue their search for an elusive Premier League title.
They need to strengthen their squad with high-calibre signings, which could be the difference between another near-miss and finally clinching the title.
