Arsenal striker Vivianne Miedema has reportedly spoken with both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain about her future.
That’s according to a story in the Guardian, per Dutch newspaper AD, as the Netherlands’ record goalscorer approaches the end of her contract.
Miedema has been with Arsenal since 2017, in which time she has won an FA WSL title as well as being named the PFA Women’s Player of the Year in 2019.
But the Guardian reveals that the 25-year-old is now considering a move and has with her sights set on winning the Champions League over the next few years.
“In the coming weeks I have to get a certain feeling for the right club,” Miedema told AD.
“The door to Arsenal is definitely not closed yet.
“I want to win the Champions League. I want to get the most out of it [her career]. That means I may have to take the next step. I’m 25 and that’s still quite young, but I’ve been around for a while.”
Barcelona are widely regarded as the best team in the women’s game, having claimed an unprecedented treble last season, while PSG ended Lyon’s grip over the women’s game in France by winning last year’s league title.
