Arsenal star names Real-Madrid bound Mbappé as world’s best, with Blancos star no.2 | OneFootball

Comments on the part of Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhães have piqued attentions across the fanbase of La Liga giants Real Madrid, on Monday.

This comes after the Brazilian provided his take on the world’s current standout players.

During an interview with Sky Sports, which saw him joined by fellow Arsenal stalwart William Saliba, the Gunners pair were drawn on a whole host of interesting topics.

Most surrounded their teammates in north London, but one, in particular, has since turned heads across the continent.

After being drawn on the subject of the best player in all of world football at present, both Gabriel and Saliba opted for Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappé.

The explosive attacker is of course an international teammate of the latter.

But Gabriel was also sure to reserve some special praise for a compatriot of his own.

This came upon the stopper, fresh off a stellar performance against Manchester City on Sunday, naming Real Madrid wide-man Vinícius Jr. as close behind Mbappé, in 2nd:

“Best player in the world right now? Kylian Mbappé is number one, Vini Jr. is number two.”
