Arsenal fans will again be out in force to support their team with more than 40,000 tickets having been sold for this weekend’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners welcome The Foxes to N7 for their latest league fixture on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 2pm).

With Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Barclays Women’s Super League title having virtually come to an end, this weekend’s fixture against Leicester City may have seemed like a more difficult sell than previous matches at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners are viewed as the Barclays Women’s Super League’s best supported club though and fans have backed the team yet again with more than 40,000 having secured their places for this weekend’s clash.

Arsenal fans have been sent home happy from both of the club’s previous Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures staged at the Emirates Stadium in 2024. The Gunners first defeated Manchester United 3-1 before recording a 1-0 North London derby victory over neighbours Tottenham Hotspur. Jonas Eidevall’s side will now hope to end this season’s schedule at the Emirates Stadium on a winning note against Leicester City.
