Arsenal set for new meeting for Arthur, Juventus eye Cagliari man as replacement | OneFootball

Arsenal are set to have a new meeting with Juventus for Arthur, with the Bianconeri now also keeping an eye on Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez.

Marco Conterio has reported that Arsenal’s contact for Arthur will resume later today but Arsenal need to change their initial offer by guaranteeing a bigger loan plus the obligation to buy for later. Aaron Ramsey’s case and Rodrigo Bentancur’s case are yet to be resolved.

Nandez’s name though, is now on Juve’s shortlist as the option for Denis Zakaria has proven to be quite expensive because of the demands of Borussia Monchengladbach. Excellent relations between Juve and Cagliari could help any talks, with the Sardinian having opened up for a loan already.

The player’s entourage has already talked to Torino but the idea of a potential swap involving Amadou Diawara remains complicated, as things stand.
