Arsenal have confirmed they will take on Monaco on 2 August in this year’s edition of the club’s now-traditional Emirates Cup season opener.
The Emirates Cup usually takes place at the weekend but will be played on a Wednesday days before Arsenal meet Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.

The Gunners will travel to Germany and the United States to kick off pre-season, playing Nürnberg before crossing the Atlantic for matches against the MLS All-Stars, Manchester United and Barcelona.
