The sum places Arsenal among the top recipients in England and across Europe, narrowly behind Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, and ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United.
The payments reflect the presence of Arsenal players at major UEFA-sanctioned international competitions over the last four years, including Euro 2024, the Nations League campaigns of 2020/21 and 2022/23, and the European Qualifiers between 2022 and 2024.
UEFA’s compensation model is based on the number of players released by each club and the duration of their participation in international duty, with fixed rates applied per player per day during final tournaments such as Euro 2024.

Arsenal’s final total reflects the club’s increased international profile under Mikel Arteta, with a growing contingent of senior internationals featuring prominently for their countries during the qualification cycle and at the tournaments themselves.
The £200 million fund was shared between 901 clubs, according to UEFA, with no English side other than Manchester City receiving a larger payment than Arsenal.
While City topped the distribution with a figure just over £4.4 million, due in part to their significant number of players involved in the latter stages of Euro 2024 and both Nations League finals, Arsenal’s strong showing demonstrates their current squad depth and international calibre.
