The Premier League have confirmed their September nominees for Player and Manager of the Month, with Arsenal receiving nominations in both categories.
In the running for Manager of the Month is Mikel Arteta, following a win away to Tottenham Hotspur, an unfortunate draw away to Manchester City, and an impressive (if perhaps overly dramatic) 4-2 win at home to Leicester City.
Arteta is up against Unai Emery of Aston Villa, Enzo Maresca of Chelsea, Marco Silva of Fulham, and Arne Slot of Liverpool, and you can vote here.

Then Arsenal have Gabriel Magalhaes in the Player of the Month category, following his goals in both the trip away to Tottenham Hotspur and the away match against Manchester City.
Gabriel also helped his team to a clean sheet in the Spurs game, and he helped the Gunners’ 10 men to hold out until the very final minutes of the City match.
Though Arsenal did concede twice to Leicester, Gabriel couldn’t be blamed for either goal, and he put in another strong display on the day.
Gabriel is up against Newcastle’s Harvey Barnes, Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Ryan Gravenberch, Fulham’s Raul Jimenez, Everton’s Dwight McNeil, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
You can vote on that one here, and both votes will close on Monday, October 7th.
WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Month for September 2024
In other news, WhoScored have included David Raya, Gabriel, and Bukayo Saka in their Premier League Team of the Month for September.
With an 8.09 average rating, Saka was also WhoScored’s highest-rated player of the month.
Raya continued his strong early-season form with a clean sheet against Spurs and a battling performance against City, whilst Saka provided assists in both of those games and set up Arsenal’s late winner over Leicester, though that one went down as an own goal.
