Arsenal readying €20m bid for Valencia star | OneFootball

The brass at Premier League giants Arsenal are readying a fresh proposal for Valencia star Cristhian Mosquera.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Sunday provided an update on the situation.

The name of stopper Mosquera has of course taken its place front and centre in the transfer chatter across Europe over the week to date.

This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the aforementioned Arsenal had kicked into gear efforts to land the Spanish youth international.

The Gunners’ opening offer, worth a sum in the region of €14 million, was rejected out of hand by Valencia.

As alluded to above, though, as much has not brought an end to the efforts of Mikel Arteta and co. to bring Mosquera to north London.

As revealed by journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Arsenal have reached full agreement on personal terms with Christian Mosquera. New proposal set to be submitted after opening bid worth €14m got rejected by Valencia. Arsenal hope to get the deal done for fee in excess of €20m, talks underway.’
