Arsenal ready to re-open Éver Banega talks in the summer

Arsenal are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Sevilla midfielder Éver Banega this summer.

Unai Emery is a huge fan of the Argentina international having worked with him at Sevilla and Valencia.

The 31-year-old was believed to be first choice to replace Aaron Ramsey at the Emirates but Arsenal could not do a deal in January because of a lack of funds.

According to the Mirror though, the club will make a second move for Banega come the end of the season, with the Gunners willing to pay his €20m release clause.

It’s thought that the South American hatchet-man would be willing to reunite with his old boss.
