Arsenal are aiming to close the gap on Liverpool at the Premier League's summit on Saturday afternoon when they host Everton.
The league leaders will also be in action at home to Fulham on Saturday and the Gunners are primed to take advantage of any slip-ups at Anfield. Arsenal stumbled to a disappointing draw with the Cottagers themselves last weekend but found their stride with a convincing 3-0 win over Monaco in the Champions League midweek.
Defensive injuries continue to plague Arsenal and Mikel Arteta will likely field another weakened backline on Saturday. Fortunately for the Spaniard, only bottom of the table Southampton have scored fewer than Everton in the Premier League this term.
Here is how Arsenal could line up at the weekend.

GK: David Raya - Arsenal have been back in clean sheet mode since the international break and any shots that have flown beyond Raya have had little to do with the Spaniard. His greatest challenge might be keeping warm on Saturday.
RB: Thomas Partey - With injuries to full-backs having been all too regular, Partey is likely to fill in at right-back once more with Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu unavailable. The Ghanaian will have to keep the lively Dwight McNeil quiet.
CB: William Saliba - Saliba has been a permanent fixture of the Arsenal defence this term bar a brief suspension. The imposing Frenchman will enjoy a physical duel with Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Saturday.
CB: Jakub Kiwior - Kiwior hasn't looked entirely comfortable in the heart of the Arsenal defence but he has been generally solid while filling in for the injured Gabriel over the last three matches.
LB: Jurrien Timber - With Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori doubtful to feature at the weekend, it may be Timber who starts at left-back. He could replace 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly, who impressed on his first Champions League start midweek.
CM: Martin Odegaard - It's no coincidence that Odegaard's return has resulted in a significant upturn in form for Arsenal, who often lean so heavily on their Norwegian skipper. He will be key to unlocking a deep-lying and organised Everton backline on Saturday.
CM: Mikel Merino - Partey's move to right-back could open the door for Mikel Merino as the deepest member of Arsenal's midfield. He started against Monaco and produced a largely positive display as the Gunners eased to victory.
CM: Declan Rice - Rice's main contributions in recent weeks have come from set pieces, with his wicked far-post corner deliveries causing all manner of problems for opponents. Everton are one of the few sides that will relish the duels from dead balls.
RW: Bukayo Saka - The effortless Arsenal winger was at the heart of Wednesday's victory in Europe, scoring twice and grabbing an assist as he stole the headlines. He has often been provider in past meetings with Everton, registering four assists in nine clashes.
ST: Kai Havertz - Gabriel Jesus produced a mixed performance midweek and Havertz will return to the starting XI this weekend. The German is Arsenal's leading number nine for good reason, with ten goals to Jesus' one in all competitions this term.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli - Martinelli was arguably fortunate not to be sent off against Monaco but the Brazilian was a distinct threat in possession. His direct approach and never-ending energy will be integral to breaking Everton down.
