It is a clear sign that manager Mikel Arteta does not see Ozil as an option for the team, even if there is an injury crisis.
According to the Daily Star, Ozil could leave as soon as January for regular football.
Teams in Major League Soccer may be interested, but it is unclear if Ozil is prepared to leave Europe.
He is only 32 and may still feel he can give a few good years to a European club.
