Arsenal players in line for huge bonuses if Champions League secured

Arsenal's squad are in line for end of season bonuses of up to £500,000 if they qualify for the Champions League.

The Gunners are in prime position to secure a top four Premier League finish, which would guarantee Champions League football for next term.

According to the Daily Mail, the Arsenal squad bonuses mean that half a million would go to each player should they achieve top four.

In addition, many of the players have clauses in their contract that give them a wage boost when they are in the Champions League.

Clubs gain roughly £50 million in prize money, along with other financial benefits, from being in the Champions League.
