Arsenal are reportedly considering a shock transfer move for Spain star Fabian Ruiz next month.

Ruiz played a crucial role in La Roja’s run to the Euro 2024 title in Germany and his club future remains uncertain at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 28-year-old is under contract in Paris until 2027, but he is not an automatic first choice pick in the French capital, and could be tempted by a new challenge.

Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his midfield options ahead of the new Premier League season and Ruiz is an option if a deal can be struck.

As per the latest update from the Daily Express, Arsenal are considering a loan offer for Ruiz for the 2024/25 campaign, with a compulsory purchase option at the end of the season.

PSG will demand around £35m to consider a sale and Arteta will likely need to offload a midfielder to release both funds and squad space in his ranks.
