Arsenal are now one step away from sealing the signing of Bologna full-back Aaron Hickey.
Daniele Longo has reported about the situation of Hickey, claiming that executives from Bologna met Arsenal executives in London yesterday to finalise an agreement with the Premier League side. It has been described as a ‘profitable’ deal for Bologna, with the figures of the move yet to be fully ascertained.
Hickey will follow the same path as Takehiro Tomiyasu, who joined Arsenal from the rossoblu last summer and has impressed at the club.
Several Italian clubs were interested in Hickey and it was Napoli who took the most concrete steps and Milan were also interested in the Scotsman, claims the report. Bologna president Joey Saputo is said to be happy with the move.
